Fox River Grove School District 3

The Board of Education of Fox River Grove School District #3 recently became aware of some complaints regarding the outdoor lighting at Algonquin Road School. Specifically, certain individuals within the community have alleged that the lighting is not in compliance with the applicable codes, regulations and ordinances related to school operations. In response, the District administration contacted the Village of Fox River Grove and the District’s architect to provide guidance regarding the current lighting and whether any modifications were required. To date, certain modifications have been made to the lights in the parking lot. The District will continue to work with its architect and a third-party lighting consultant to determine what, if any, additional items need to be addressed.
