October is National Principals Month and in Illinois, Principal Appreciation Week is October 20-26, 2024 with Principal Appreciation Day being celebrated on Oct. 25. We’re beyond fortunate to have these two incredible leaders guiding our schools here in District 3! Let’s give a big thank you to Jessica McKenzie, Principal of FRG Middle School, and Scott Walton, Principal of Algonquin Road School, for their unwavering dedication and leadership. They both bring a passion that truly impacts every student at Fox River Grove, creating a supportive and thriving environment where learners can grow and succeed. Join us in celebrating and showing our appreciation for the these amazing leaders in District 3!

Thanks to Grants from the Farny R. Wurlitzer Foundation and the Mockingbird Foundation, our dream of having a Xylophone for every student has finally come true! Your generosity to the music program at ARS will be felt for a long time.
