My name is Amy Erickson. I am one of the new literacy specialists at ARS. I previously taught 4th grade for 6 years and 3rd grade for three years before I decided to make the shift to stay home with my children. My husband and I have three children, Jack (10), Lila (9), and Crew (7). We live in Crystal Lake and enjoy boating and traveling together as a family. Our children keep us very busy with their sports/activities, but in my free time I enjoy exercising, cooking, and reading. I look forward to being back in education and working in Fox River Grove District 3! #WeareFRG

Hello! My name is Ashley Waxler and I am a new special education teacher at ARS! This is my 12th year teaching. I have spent my entire career in a Chicago Public School and am very excited for the small, supportive community of Fox River Grove.
My husband, Brian, and I have been married for 10 years and have two wonderful boys that will also be at ARS. Albie is in 4th grade and Leo is in Kindergarten. You can find me with a cup of coffee, reading a book, exploring a state or national park, or seeing live music.
