Meet the Principal

Rachelle Peters

Hello! I'm Rachelle Peters, and I am so excited to be the new principal at Algonquin Road School!

This is my 24th year in education. I earned my bachelor's degree in sociology and elementary education from University Wisconsin-Parkside and my master's degree in educational leadership from Aurora University. I taught 4th grade for nine years and I was assistant principal at the middle school of the same district for fourteen years. 

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, which includes my husband Matt, our daughter Noelle, and our sons Landyn and Hayden. I enjoy going on walks with our three-year-old Goldendoodle, Mercedes. I love traveling and often spend time outside of Nashville visiting Noelle, who is currently working on her master’s degree. I also enjoy being outdoors and soaking up the sunshine whenever I can.

I’m so excited for the opportunity to serve as principal at Algonquin Road School! I can’t wait to get to know all of our amazing students and staff, build strong relationships, and celebrate all the great things happening in our school community. It’s going to be a fantastic year, and I’m truly honored to be part of it!
